Happy Naturals shampoo SLS/Paraben free — Review

This blog is specially for all those curly girls in India who are looking for a good shampoo that does not squeeze the life out of your hair.

The main challenge which I faced while searching for shampoos on an affordable range without chemicals were either they wouldn’t lather up or would make my hair greasy. But those shampoos which are good will cost me around Rs 1000, which I was not ready to spend on.

Happy Natural’s Caffeine Shampoo saved me!

Ingredients

Aqua (Water), Ammonium lauryl sulfate, Glycerin, Myristamide DIPA,
Lauryl betaine, Parfum (Fragrance), Sodium chloride, Hydroxypropyl guar hydroxypropyltrimonium
chloride, Sodium hydroxymethylglycinate, Citric acid, Disodium EDTA, Polyquaternium-7, Eucalyptus
globulus leaf oil, Mentha arvensis leaf oil, Mentha spicata herb oil, Rosmarinus officinalis (Rosemary)
leaf oil, Caffeine, Panthenol, Artemisia vulgaris oil, Citrus aurantium amara (Bitter Orange) leaf/twig oil,
Citrus medica limonum (Lemon) peel oil, Pogostemon cablin oil, Limonene, Linalool.

How to use ?

Soak hair in warm water and massage in Shampoo from roots to ends. Rinse thoroughly.

My experience

This shampoo works really well. It’s very hydrating on the hair but does not leave your hair oily or greasy. It gives a lot of volume to my hair.

Though I am not the best when it comes to identifying smell, but I can assure you that it is pleasant.

The consistency is neither too thick nor too watery and it lathers up really well so you need to use just a diamond size of it. I have a habit of diluting any kind of shampoo in water before using it on my hair. So I do the same with this as well.

I use their Macadamia Oil Moisturising Conditioner along with this. I don’t feel anything extra ordinary about it.

Soon will try out their caffeine conditioner and review it !

I have also tried out their keratin+super smooth shampoo and not a big fan of it either.

So far the caffaine shampoo is the only one without so many harsh chemicals that has worked good for me. I highly recommend it.
